Welcome to the new face of Body Tune Physical Therapy and Wellness
Compression garments are an important part of lymphedema treatment and long-term swelling management. At Body Tune Physical Therapy, compression therapy helps patients control swelling, improve circulation, reduce discomfort, and support healthy lymphatic flow.
Lymphedema occurs when the lymphatic system cannot effectively move fluid through the body, causing swelling that commonly affects the arms or legs. Compression garments apply controlled pressure to help move fluid out of swollen areas and reduce fluid accumulation.
Compression garments are often recommended as part of a complete lymphedema management program that may also include manual lymphatic drainage, exercise, skin care education, and activity modification.
At Body Tune Physical Therapy and Wellness in Layton and Ogden, we can order custom fit compression garments and devices or generic fit garments.
At Body Tune, we don’t believe in quick fixes. We believe in tune-ups—addressing movement patterns, strength, mobility, and recovery so your body can perform at its best for the long haul. Your body is built to move. Let us help you keep it tuned for life.

Lymphedema comes from a buildup of fluid caused by a broken lymph system or disorder of the lymph nodes. It is often caused by the removal of a lymph node (often the case in breast cancer or other cancer patients).
Lipedema is a fat-accumilation disorder. it is often genetic or hormonal.
At Body Tune, we can help you find relief from both disorders.
Compression Garments are often prescribed by physicians or surgeons after a surgery. They help maintain or reduce swelling, reduce bruising, reduce risk of blood clots, and more.
Many insurances are now covering compression garments or other lymphatic treatment devices. We work with several 3rd parties that we trust to purchase or order supplies. They are generally the ones who can verify if you have insurance coverage for a specific treatment. We will help you with the process and will communicate with our 3rd parties.
