Did you know that physical therapy is now considered Direct Access care? This means that you do not need a doctor’s referral to schedule an appointment with a physical therapist! Some insurances still may have specific requirements. Check with your insurance or with our benefits eligibility and verification team to learn more.
You can schedule an appointment online or you can call the front desk. See the button at the top of the page to schedule online OR scroll to the bottom of the page for our contact info.
We track your progress at each appointment but we can also track your progress from home through our Home Exercise Program App. On our HEP app you can text us, report your progress or your pain, and log your exercise. This gives you greater access to your physical therapist and gives us more resources to help measure your progress and help you at anytime!
Generally appointments are scheduled for 1 hour. We have several options for smaller and shorter treatments as well.
We do our best to get you out of pain and not put you in more pain than you may already be in, but sometimes some tough love and treatment is needed to achieve that goal longterm. Patients may experience some pain or stiffness after treatments and may experience some pain during. Some ways you may experience discomfort during treatment: manual therapy/massaging muscles (got to loosen those tough muscles up!), stretching, dry needling, exercising, etc.
If a treatment or exercise is ever causing severe or sharp pain, please let the staff member you are working with know ASAP! Your physical therapist will provide education on what is healthy pain/discomfort and what is considered harmful pain or injury.
Every body and injury is going to heal differently. We will provide you with education and a treatment plan that is catered specifically to you. If you have questions on your healing or treatment plan, speak directly to your physical therapist.
This will vary depending on your body and your injury. Even the same injury could heal differently between two people. Your physical therapist will work with you to create a treatment plan and provide you a timeline. The work that you put in and how well your body responds are determining factors. Many patients feel relief in the first session but many others don’t see relief for several weeks.
We accept cash, credit card, debit card, or check. We also take HSA or FSA and similar accounts.
