Welcome to the new face of Body Tune Physical Therapy and Wellness
TENS therapy, or Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation, is a treatment that uses low-level electrical stimulation to help reduce pain and improve comfort during rehabilitation.
At Body Tune Physical Therapy, TENS therapy is commonly used alongside exercise, manual therapy, and other treatments to help patients manage acute and chronic pain conditions.
During treatment, small electrode pads are placed on the skin near the painful area. Gentle electrical impulses help stimulate nerves and may reduce pain signals sent to the brain while promoting natural pain-relieving responses in the body.
TENS therapy is non-invasive, comfortable for most patients, and often used as part of a comprehensive physical therapy plan.
At Body Tune, we don’t believe in quick fixes. We believe in tune-ups—addressing movement patterns, strength, mobility, and recovery so your body can perform at its best for the long haul. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, returning to sport, or simply looking to move and feel better, our team is here to guide you every step of the way.
Your body is built to move. Let us help you keep it tuned for life.
TENS therapy may help:
The intensity and settings are adjusted to each patient’s comfort level and treatment goals.

TENS may help reduce pain and muscle tightness associated with back injuries and chronic pain.
Electrical stimulation can help decrease muscle tension and improve comfort during movement.
Patients with joint pain may experience temporary symptom relief with TENS therapy.
TENS can help athletes manage soreness and discomfort during recovery.
Electrical stimulation may help relax tight muscles and reduce guarding patterns.
Patients with persistent pain conditions may benefit from temporary symptom management.
Most patients describe the sensation as mild tingling or pulsing rather than painful.
TENS is generally considered safe when used appropriately under professional guidance.
Relief varies by patient and condition. Some experience temporary relief while others notice longer-lasting benefits.
Some patients may benefit from home units after proper instruction from a healthcare professional. We sell them in our clinic's product shelf for easy take home use at an affordable price.
